Apex Tool Group Nicholson American pattern round chainsaw files with smooth cut has curved tooth pattern and is used to file from inside to outside of cutter. Chainsaw file offers firmly support cutting and is used on carbon steel.

Tighten tension on chain to firmly support cutters when filing. File from inside to outside of cutter. Place file against beveled cutting surface of teeth 20 – 45 degrees with saw. Follow saw manufacturer’s specifications. Sharpen all left hand cutters on one side of chain. Then move to the other side and file all the right hand cutter .Check depth gauge height every 2 or 3 sharpening. Height between cutting teeth and depth gauge is between 0.020 – 0.030 inches. Use on carbon steel. With increased gentleness and stronger adhesion for more challenging applications, it has excellent adhesion, it stretches to accommodate swelling and movement.
